My name is Marie Steinkat, I am 26 years old and animal welfare has been for many years a large part of my life. I grew up with cats, dogs and horses. As a child I collected signatures against animal testing and created posters. With great pleasure I organized with my friends' mini-demos "in my home village. Equal treatment and equality of every living thing was me at that time already very important. This desire for improvement has led me to me actively involved in animal welfare - even across national borders. In my opinion, you can not spend a great holiday abroad and at the same time close their eyes to the local animal suffering.

I am committed since about 2 years for the dogs in La Linea, Spain and am by then become attention to the cats. For me it was clear that these too have a chance at a new and worthwhile life. Anke Reitsenstein that time already catered to the cats took care of there, and I decided therefore to form an association so that we can really active and also help sustainable.
